> NEW VIDEOBLOG FOOTAGE AND NEW SINGLE OUT NOW! <
I've decided to let you guys spot it first, before I let the whole internetDnBforum world know - so the dedicated lovely JohnB RoboBlog gang can see it before anyone else... Wooohar... So here's another Video Blog file thing - all edited up nicely, from when I was out there in July. I have some more to edit and stick up this week too, from Sweden, and Mannheim, and last week in the US and Germany. Gotta get on teh iMovie. Arrrggg. Go to: www.betarecordings.com/beta-site/video to see what I'm talking about - although you'll probably need Apple's Quicktime player, which is free, and available for PC too, so no excuses... Also, here's the info for my new single, out now, and available on the BETA STOREBETA 016 A: John B "Remember Tonight" CLICK HERE FOR MP3BETA 016 B: DBA vs. JOHN B "Falling (John B 2005 Remix)" CLICK HERE FOR MP3OUT NOW! BUY ONLINE AT: www.beta-store.com John Bs first solo single since last year's critically acclaimed drum & bass / electro hybrid album in:transit. Returning to the Epic Trance & Bass style he pioneered with hits like Up all Night & Electrofreek! - but with an updated production style for 2005. Remember Tonight features luscious melodic trance breakdowns with live acoustic guitar & vocals from John himself, followed by trademark smacking breaks & reese basslines to melt the dancefloor. John Bs 2005 remix of Falling - his collaboration with trance greats DBA (Robbie Bronnimann & Shaz Sparks) has been his opener on tour dates for several months and is a shining example of how Trance & DnB can be blended together as a powerful, progressive combination. Once again a massive, uplifting breakdown is followed by immense bassline and classic Drum & Bass breaks & edits - HUGE! John is currently finishing off his new album Electrostep - has been building up the website with the new addition of lots of live video footage filmed while on tour and plenty of live DJ mix MP3 downloads - the recent August DJ mix has been downloaded 20,000 times in 2 days! John has also remixed a new Howard Jones single, been working with House geniuses The Young Punx, remixing bands like The Fashionistas, My Robot Friend, SExpress, Heaven 17 & The Education - he has also done unofficial remixes & re-edits of Nine Inch Nails, LCD Soundsystem, Bloc Party, The Bravery, Marilyn Manson, Talk Talk, Kim Wilde & The Cure. OK I'm off to play some counterstrike... Lots of Love... JB

merlot pinot shiraz you spaz
Hello all. has been rather too long sinc emy last update, and i fear I''ve forgotten anyhing of worth from the last month or so, which is a shame, because I'm sure i had a lot to say.
So yes, I am playing in Munich tomorrow, looking 4ward to that. with mc lowqui. maybe this time he wont bogart off all the girls i was talking to, well, actually i probably won't really care, but anywayyy. Just finished off a new version of 'american girls' - for the germans, imaginatively titled 'german girls' and all the vocals are in german... thanks to my m0m for linguistic assistance there... although she didn't approve or assist in any dirty rhymes, so its not as slutty as the uk version. the song. not my mother. naturally.
today i went to homo-base and bought 2 standard lamps for 10 quid and some electric power things, and a cactus and some lightbulbs. i also went to the post orifice and posted webstore things. some kid sent a cheque for 152 dollars for all this random stuf he's ordered but totally failed to recognise that he picked the wrong shipping option and owes another milllllllllion dollars. more admin. lovely. oh and i passed fresh of BC fame on the other side of the street while rishing to the post orifice, shouted "DANNNNN" at him like alan partridge but no response, he had a big phone on his ear and was probably talking to pendulum or mary anne hobbs. would have made more of an effort to harrass, but had to get to bank before 5pm to pay in random webstore cheque etc
been going to new gym, the david lloyd. its great, next to the 3G building and is mainly full of ppl that work there, so during the day i pretty much have the whole place to myself, including the pool. hurrah. have also changed my ipod strategy and jsut put it on general shuffle so i get to work out to whatever it feels like, as opposed to hefty german technodancepopelectrobeepbeep.
spent the evening in kingston yesterday - wore adamant styleee make up, got rained on, went to pub, but was a very good one, like the hobgolbin in maidenhead, played ppooool with hipsters, beat them, drunk wine, got rained on, went to emo club, in suit, was only person drinking champagne, lame lamelameeee but fun, got cab back with mystery northern cabbie who i thought had stolen my uumbrella till i woke up this morning, in a rannndom student house, then was awoken by all the nigerian housemates ranting on in nigerian to their mother, and bulldozers outside moving earth at 7am, while i was fiending for a coffee, which i got, without asking, which was ace, but it was asda own brand coffee... hahah. then i got lost on the way home and had to have a sleep when i got home as a result of the trauma. then i went to homo-base and the rest is history.
this sounds like a schoolboy 'this was my holiday' report, lucky you got punctuation too.
good.
goign to munich 2moro. if you live there, lucky you. if you don't. SHAMEEEEEEE>

> Hello from my Immobile Office <
HeLLo there all. Tis Sunday morning and I'm chilling on the laptop in bed watching Countryfile and drinking espressos. Except my coffee machine is a bit clogged up, its going far too slowly, think I'm gona have to descale it again. Grrrreat.
Had a quiet night in last night, was just a bit knackkered from Friday's gig in Munich - which went really well, played for the Danger crew's 10 year birthday, with MC Low Qui - club was rammed, and mega hot, as usual - hopefully the video camera got to see past all the foggg.
Talked to BA pilots at Munich airport, and then again when I got trapped somehow 'backstage' on the way back from the bathrooms, all the doors were locked apart from some executive lounge and there were no signs anywhere. Got out in the end, but was all just a bit too much for me and my frazzled hungover 4 hr sleep brain.
Ok, I'm off to do some DIY things today, god bless the new Homebase, mmmm plants, wood, lightbulbs - hurrrah!
